One of our continuing favorites… Medium to full bodied with spicy overtones and a provocative aroma… The absolute finest of the Antigua coffees.
Guatemala SHB (Strictly Hard Bean) Huehuetenango is grown in the central highlands of Guatemala. The state of Huehuetengo produces some of the finest coffees of Central America.
The product of this region had long been a well-guarded secret among Europe’s most particular specialty roasters. A washed coffee, the beans are a waxy blue in color and may be among the hardest beans grown worldwide. Cultivated at an elevation of 5,000 feet and above, Huehuetenango is a coffee offering crisp, bright acidity and a hint of nuttiness. It is excellent as a straight or a a blender.
